My first blog- why choose me?

So, you are looking for a photographer? You have looked around lots and still unsure with who to go with?

I see so many asking for 'cheap photographers' but sometimes cheap isn't always the way, ever here the saying 'you get what you pay for' ? This is very true when it comes to photography as there are so many out there happy to give you anything just because they have a new camera and believe themselves to now be a photographer,and unfortunately you then learn the hard way that they weren't perhaps the best for you. I might not have had 'proper' training as I am all self taught but this doesn't mean I have done nothing, I have spent literally many hours on the computer teaching myself alsorts and I still continue to learn every day.

Photography is most definately a luxury, so why waste it, you need to make sure that you get them right the first time. I want people to want me for my work and not for my price but still understand today's needs/money so I think I am very fairly priced and you will definately get what you pay for.

I can offer you a few choices as not everyone fits into the same category. You can have a session within your own home for newborns/babies which can either be a Lifetsyle* session or more studio like. You can come to me at my home studio or for older children and family photo sessions we can use some of the beautiful locations around Plymouth which is definately perfect for those active children.

I have had lots of feedback that I am very patient with your children which I believe I am, I work with your children, not the other way around, I like to make sure they are happy, which in turn will always show in their photos.

*This can be a session within your own home or anywhere significant to you. It's just you, your children, and family as you are, it is spontaneous, and natural, the aim is to capture portaits in everyday situations, real-life events or milestones
